Chargers Blood Drive XXXI
The San Diego Blood Bank is gearing up once again for one of the community's longest running and most successful life-saving events of the year. Chargers Blood Drive XXXI, presented by the San Diego County Credit Union, will take place at the Town & Country Convention Center on Tuesday, November 24, form 9am to 7pm. Participants will also be able to join the National Marrrow Donor Program registry free of charge at this year's drive. The San Diego Blood Bank will provide donors the opportunity to secure a coveted Chargers Blood Drive XXXI t-shirt by donating the week before the drive (Monday, November 16 through Monday, November 23) during a special Chargers Mania Blood Drive at all San Diego Blood Bank donor centers and mobile drives. Donors will be awarded a voucher that may be redeemed at the Chargers Blood Drive for a t-shirt, as well as a VIP wristband for the autograph lilne. Donors will also have the opportunity to purchase an entry to win a 2010 Honda CRV or Honday Insight Hybrid, donated by the Honda Dealers of San Diego County, which will be given away at the Chargers Drive on the 24th. Join Z90.3 along with the San Diego Chargers and Charger girls for a day of entertainment, food and other goodies at the blood drive. Participants who do not plan to donate blood but would still like to meet the Chargers and enjoy the festivities will be charged a $5 entry fee ($1 for children). Blood donors will be refunded the admission price after they donate. Free parking will be provided for all donors. For more information call 1-800-469-7322.

47th Annual Starlight Parade
Join the Z90.3 Street Team at the 47th Annual Starlight Parade on Third Avenue in Downtown Chula Vista on December 5th at 6pm. This year's event, themed "Holidays Around The World" will include over 5,000 participants in decorated floats, local marching bands, community groups and many more. The Community Athletic Grand Marshall's for this year's parade will be the Park View Little Leauge World Series champions. Get in the holiday spirit before the parade with the children's events taking place at Memorial Park Bowl from 1pm to 5pm with community performances. Enjoy the rides, crafts, and sounds of the strolling holiday carolers at the park, followed by the Mayor's Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Memorial Park at 5pm. Stop by the Z90.3 tent to win some cool prizes!
