U.S. Open Sandcastle Competition Saturday, July 12th 2008
Z90.3 and The members of The U.S. Open Sandcastle Committee would like to invite you to be a part of this exciting, annual international event, Saturday, July 12th from 9am to 7pm. The street festival begins with over 140 vendors set up for the weekend activities. Continued with entertainment, food, arts and crafts and lots of fun. The Kids-N-Kastles Competition is held on Saturday afternoon. Visitors can stroll up and down Seacoast Drive, as the entire street is closed to traffic.

U.S. Open Sandcastle Competition Sunday, July 13th 2008
Z90.3 and The members of The U.S. Open Sandcastle Committee would like to invite you to be a part of the activities on Sunday, July 13th, when the official U.S. Open Sandcastle Competition will be held. This is the championship of sandcastle building where the professional sand carvers vie for the title of Master's Champion and compete in the sandcastle building competition with more than $21,000 in cash prizes. Weekend festivities conclude when the teams are presented with titles and cash prizes presented at the Awards ceremony.

When San Diego's first Pride march took place 33 years ago down Broadway, its participants could not have imagined traversing down a mile-long parade route lined with 150,000 applauding spectators. The San Diego LGBT Pride parade has come a very long way since the 1970s. It now embodies 200 floats and contingents from our diverse LGBT community. It is an enormous spectacle not to be missed! With over 200 floats and contingents the Parade is the largest civic event in San Diego.
