TMZ reports a new piece of evidence was found at the former O.J. Simpson estate.

A folding buck knife was found buried on the perimeter and was found by a construction worker. It’s currently being tested by the LAPD.

The sources are mixed saying the knife was found either “several years ago,” or 1998. Either way, the construction worker took the knife to the street where he saw a cop. The officer took the knife and kept it for years.

Apparently, the officer told a friend about the knife and upon retirement, he was getting it framed. Luckily, the friend told his superiors who made the officer fork over the knife, and it is now being reviewed under a top secret investigation.

Sources say the knife is currently being tested for hair and fingerprints.

Since O.J. was found not guilty, it’s still an open case. That means cops can continue investigating, but Simpson can’t be prosecuted again because of double jeopardy.

Can you believe this story is re-opened after all these years? What are your thoughts?
