Sometimes it takes months to write a song…other times it happens when you least expect it.

At least that’s what happened when The Chainsmokers with the song “Paris”.

The duo recently shared an awesome story about how they came up with the lyrics, and it involved a drunkin’ night at 4 or 5am in Sweden after a show. That’s when they started singing “We’re staying in Paris to get away from your parents!”

Rick said they’re lucky they weren’t writing a song about Temecula. LOL!
