Hostess is recalling the limited-edition Holiday White Peppermint Twinkies over concerns of Salmonella contamination.

There were no illnesses reported to date, but concerns were brought up when the FDA tested ingredients that tested positive for Salmonella.

Salmonella can cause serious and fatal infections in young children, elderly people, and those with weak immune systems.
