DJ Al Squared

Born and raised in San Diego, Alsquared has been an aspiring radio/club dj since he got his first set of turntables at the age of 12. Being heavily influenced by various genres before actually getting into hip hop is what helped Alsquared gain a better ear for music.

Bands such as Queen, The Beatles and even the Beegees were a few of his favorite groups as a young child.
Around the age of 9 is when Alsquared would catch an interest for hip hop. Growing up in San Diego, Z90.3 took a great part in inspiring this young boy to create a dream. Alsquared would here Dj’s mixing live on the radio and wondered how they would do it. This point of interest turned into a hobby, witch turned into a passion, witch turned into a dream, and 8 years later, it finally became his job. Alsquared is known to be the youngest member of the Z90.3 Mixmaster Squad, but don’t let that fool you. This young man has been developing a growing name for himself in the music industry. Next to being on the radio, Alsquared loves mixing at clubs. His eclectic style of music is what catches the attention of club goers wherever he is. Now a proud member of the Z90.3 Family, Alsquared has found his new home on the air!
