This week’s story comes from Lebanon, Virginia, where eight-year-old Bryson Killean’s puppy was diagnosed with a highly contagious dog virus that required expensive treatment. To save his pet dog, Bryson decided to sell his prized Pokémon card collection to pay for the expenses. His kind act ended up getting worldwide attention, including from pokemon employees based in Washington state. They sent Bryson a package of Pokemon cards to replace the ones he sold, including rare cards that are hard to find in stores. They also sent a letter of appreciation, thanking him for his selfless act. Bryson is now reunited with his healthy furry friend and gets to enjoy a new set of Pokémon cards. What an inspiration, thank you Bryson!
