If you’re feeling down, it is now scientifically proven that petting a dog can help! Today’s story is pup-lifting news, as scientists have observed that cuddling with a dog significantly improves your well-being. A study from the University of British Columbia tested 284 undergraduates who had various interactions with and without dogs and found that the people who physically touched a dog, including tummy rubs, ear scratches, and nuzzles, had a greater mood boost than other interactions. So if you’re looking for a way to keep stress in check, a nice canine cuddle may do the trick. It’s science!
