Hey, it’s Rick, Lean on Z presents ‘Feel good Fridays. Good news is good for your mental health, so here’s a story to help you feel good going into the weekend!

This week’s story comes from L.A., where Scott Kolbrenner was having the kind of day many people only dream about. Last month, Scott was a contestant on “wheel of fortune,” and let’s just say he had an awesome game. After winning both the regular rounds of play and correctly guessing the grand prize bonus puzzle, Scott ended up winning a whopping 145-thousand dollars in cash and prizes. With this newfound fortune, you’d think Scott would take a long vacation or buy himself a nice new car, right? Nope… Scott ended up donating all of it to charity, evenly splitting the amount between two organizations: $72,500 to the Los Angeles regional food bank, and $72,500 to ‘uplift family services’ in Hollywood. Scott said, “the fun and memories from the day will stay with me forever, but the urgent need in our community cannot wait.” Wow! What a kind and selfless thing to do! That money will go a long way to help a lot of people in need. Feels good knowing good people like Scott are out there.
