This week’s story comes from Center Point, Alabama, where Timothy Harrison showed up for his usual shift at waffle house, even though it was his graduation day. Turns out kid’s mom had to work, and he didn’t have a ride, so Timothy decided to skip the ceremony and instead go to work. But, Timothy’s co-workers weren’t having that! They recognized how important a high school graduation is, so Timothy’s boss and co-workers pooled together to get a cap and gown, a fresh set of clothes and got Timothy to his ceremony in time for commencement. “My work family is helpful and thoughtful, they are very loving people,” said Timothy. What a lucky guy to have a work family putting his best interests first.
