This week’s story comes from Norfolk, Virginia, where Sam Peavy, known locally as “The Lasagna Lady,” is on a mission to cook one-thousand lasagna meals to families this hold season. Peavy, with the help of volunteers from the women’s club and they team up to create dozens of meals at a time. Peavy’s goal is to reach one-thousand families and that she wanted to serve up some kindness for her community. “It’s been such a difficult year for so many,” she said. “I’d like everyone to have lasagna for whatever reason they may need it for.
