This week’s story comes from north Texas, where nine-year-old Orion Jean donated over 600 toys to his local children’s hospital, all paid for by kindness! Orion won an essay contest for a paper about kindness, and used the prize money to create his own project called “Race to Kindness.” His winnings, combined with additional donations, allowed him to buy 619 toys for Children’s Health in Dallas. That’s just the beginning for Orion, who uses social media and his website to continue spreading kindness in his community, he says “You can go out and do something kind for somebody today, and it’s probably going to make someone’s life better. Why not go and do it right now?” Way to be kind Orion.
